The History of Eltham Veterinary Practice

Since 1972, Eltham Veterinary Practice has been the backbone of quality veterinary care in Eltham. Established by Dr Daryl Hoffman in 1972, the practice has continuously operated from the site at 644 Main Road. Dr Steve Pryor initially started assisting Dr Hoffmann in 1999, and became a partner and principal vet in 2002.

With developments in veterinary practice and the need to invest in a wider range of equipment, we need a bigger building - so:

We're Moving on Up

We are building a new clinic on the original site. This will require that we move for a few months to the building at 741 Main Road, opposite the Eltham Hotel. Later in the year, we will move back and have a house warming party.

Eltham Veterinary Clinic is dedicated to providing expert care, good service, and being accessible to clients. Eltham Veterinary Practice's philosophy is to provide high quality medical and surgical care in a humane and friendly environment. We treat our clients and their pets with respect, always maintaining a fair and honest relationship, and provide top notch customer service.

In order to remain at the cutting edge, all staff regularly attend continuing education, our equipment is frequently updated, and our facilities are in the process of being upgraded. Our aim is to enable our clients to have the best possible lifelong relationship with their pets.
